Insert hook into first st, yo, pull up a loop (4 loops on hook). Insert hook into next st, yo, pull up a loop (5 loops on hook). Insert hook into next st, yo, pull up a loop (6 loops on hook). Yo, pull through all 6 loops. Ch 1 to close star.
Star Stitch: Insert hook into ch-1 sp of star just made, yo, pull up a loop (2 loops on hook). Insert hook into side of star, yo, pull up a loop (3 loops on hook). Insert hook into st at base of star, yo, pull up a loop (4 loops on hook). Insert hook into next st, yo, pull up a loop (5 loops on hook). Insert hook into next st, yo, pull up a loop (6 loops on hook). Yo, pull through all 6 loops. Ch 1 to close star.
sc 3rd Loop: to work into the 3rd Loop, work in the loop behind the top V of the indicated st.

Row 2 ws: 1 sc 3rd loop in the first st. 1 sc 3rd loop in each st across. 190, (220, 250, 280) sc ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Work first beg star st. star st across the row. In the last st, work 1 dc. 94 (109, 123, 138) Star sts + 1 dc. ch 3, turn.
Row 4: 1 sc in the first st. 2 sc in each star st across. Work 1 sc in the top of the beginning ch-3. 190, (220, 250, 280) sc. ch 1, turn.
Row 5: 1 hdc in each st across. 190, (220, 250, 280) hdc. ch 1, turn.
Row 6: 1 sc 3rd loop in the first st. 1 sc 3rd loop in each st across. 190, (220, 250, 280) sc ch 1, turn.

Adding Fringe
Toddler Size: Cut 42 lengths of yarn about 10" long
Child Size: Cut 42 lengths of yarn about 12" long
Women's size: Cut 54 lengths of yarn about 14" long
XL Women's size: Cut 54 lengths of yarn about 16" long
1) Take 3 strands of yarn and fold the grouped strands in half, forming a loop at the fold.
2) Using a crochet hook, pull the folded loop through the last ST of rows 1, 3, 5, 9, 11 and 13 for Child and Toddler sizes. Rows 1, 3, 5, 9, 11, 13, 15, 18 for Women’s and XL Women’s
